Brian Mendoza captures interim WBC title

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – New Mexico native Brian Mendoza shocked the world Saturday night.
He knocked out unbeaten Sebastian Fundora in the seventh round to become the WBC Interim Super Welterweight champ.
The Cleveland grad becomes the 7th New Mexican to ever win a world title.
