More muscle down low for UNM Lobos

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The UNM Lobos men’s basketball team has opened summer workouts and, of course, all eyes were on the two bigs – Morris Udeze and Josiah Allick.

Morris will tell you, to your face, that he is a banger and physicality is his calling card.

Allick is different.

He can score but getting better is where his focus begins.

“Obviously I’m not saying that I’m Kevin Durant, obviously I’m not really super-efficient on all three levels. It’s something that I’m definitely working on and I am improving every day. It’s something Coach Pitino really talked a lot about in my recruiting, is that he wants to develop me to be more efficient.”
