Udeze wants to bring toughness to Lobos

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Morris Udeze is bringing a major veteran presence to UNM basketball as he’s the only Lobo who has played in the NCAA tournament.

Udeze transferred from Wichita State to join a team that’s hungry for a breakout season.

The UNM Lobos have not made the ‘big dance’ since 2014 and are coming off back-to-back sub-.500 records.

Udeze wants to bring physicality at both ends of the court.

“I’d like to play physically and just naturally I don’t like being punked, you know what I’m saying, so I’m trying to bring that to the team and bring that mindset, bring it every day and practice and go my hardest just bring a toughness mindset,” Udeze said.
