Pitino: Lobos are getting stronger

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Richard Pitino spent all of last season saying the Lobos weren’t big enough or strong enough to compete on a nightly basis.
They only won 13 games, but Pitino said the Lobos got bigger and strong with the additions of Morris Udeze, from Wichita State, and Josiah Allick, from University of Missouri-Kansas City.
The two transfers are among the six newcomers on the 2022-23 roster.
