United defeats Phoenix Rising, 7-0

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New Mexico United played host to the Phoenix Rising Tuesday evening.

United jumped all over the scoreboard – scoring three goals in the first 18 minutes of the game.

Chris Wehan started scoring with a goal at the five-minute mark, followed by Justin Portillo and then Harry Swartz. Portillo also scored another goal before halftime.

United wrapped up the match with a final score of 7-0. Head Coach Zach Prince was pleased with the quick start.
