ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- New Mexico United is riding high after earning their second win in a row.

United beat Charleston Battery, 2-1, Monday night.

Devin Sandoval and Kalen Ryden scored for New Mexico.

It was Ryden’s first goal at The Lab since joining the club.

"It was great. I feel like I’ve been close a few times at The Lab this year, and so to finally put one in the back of the net here in front of the home fans was a great feeling," he said. "I think it was our smallest crowd of the season, but it didn’t feel that way to me when the ball hit the back of the net. There was a roar, and it just gave me extra excitement."
