Kira Miner: Red flag warnings posted across northern New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — As the Black Feather Fire burns in Rio Arriba County, the National Weather Service posted red flag warnings across northern New Mexico.

Red flag warnings are in effect for Taos County, Colfax County, Mora County and most of Rio Arriba County. Santa Fe County, Sandoval County and San Miguel County are also under the warning.

The red flag warning in northern New Mexico also stretches up into parts of southern Colorado.
