Kira Miner: Storm chances diminish toward the evening

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — It was another stormy night in eastern New Mexico and it’s carrying into the morning but those chances will diminish toward the evening.

That’s when the heat from the day will burn off, reducing the energy those storms have.

For much of the state, it will be dry and warm but don’t expect it to stay that way for long.
