Kira Miner: Temperatures ascend under heat dome

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Our gradual warm-up continues Tuesday in New Mexico as temperatures ascend under the omnipresent heat dome.

I think we’ve seen this film before and you didn’t like the ending if you’re not a hot weather fan. This is September, though, so soon our temperatures will start falling off.

Our average high is around 85-90° and the Albuquerque metro will be a few degrees above that.

In Roswell, the record high is around 104° Temps should be around 100.

The nice part about this morning is temperature is cool, with some 40s in the northern part of our area.
