Local woman speaks out against crime in neighborhood
If you woke up to the same problem every day for the last day, you'd be at your wits' ends. This is what one woman says she has been dealing with in her neighborhood.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — One woman has called northwest Albuquerque home for almost a decade but she says, in the last few years, she has seen crime and issues become more persistent — and she wants to help be the change.
The issue, she says, revolves around the hotels near Coors and Iliff, near where she lives. She says she wants to help spur change, understanding what homeless people are going through and what police can do.
Hear from her and about her concerns in the video above.
