Video shows moments before suspect fatally shot Alamogordo police officer

ALAMOGORDO, N.M. — A shootout over the summer resulted in the death of an Alamogordo police officer.
Lapel video from the Alamogordo Police Department captures the moments when a fellow officer found officer Anthony Ferguson with a gunshot wound – following a chase with a suspect. A few minutes later, police find the suspect, Dominic De La O, in the yard of a nearby house.
