4 Investigates: Family searches for justice following fatal hit-and-run

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The death of a child is never easy. Our community is still grieving the loss of a 7-year-old who was hit and killed leaving the River of Lights last year – by a driver who took off.

The Albuquerque Police Department helped track that suspect down in Mexico. In that case, justice is within sight.

However, other families are still waiting and even losing hope.
